Alan is a trainee solicitor, with over ten years’ experience in wills and probate from various paralegal roles across Kent. He graduated from the University of Kent with an LLB (Hons) degree in law in 2011 and completed the LLM legal practice course at De Montfort University in Leicester in 2022, graduating with a distinction.
Alan has built up extensive knowledge of, and experience in wills, lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax matters, and dealing with the administration of estates. He particularly enjoys meeting and getting to know clients, and guiding them through what can often be difficult or overwhelming circumstances.
Outside of work, Alan is a cadet forces adult volunteer with the RAF Air Cadets, a volunteer with the crisis text support charity Shout and the treasurer of five different organisations. He enjoys spending his spare time at Priestfield Stadium cheering on Gillingham FC or going for walks along the beach.
